The Balm Diggity!

I went into Sephora the other day and asked one of the overly made up people who work there (seriously, how can they even move their faces?!) to point me in the direction of some kind of light foundation or something which would help with the redness I get on my chin and cheeks sometimes. Maybe I am blushing but who cares?! Cover that shit up! Shelter

She pointed me to a few different tinted moisturizer and we eventually settled on this one. It is not too heavy, not too "dewy" (which as I told her made me look more sweaty than anything), not too sticky. And it is not so much coverage that you can't still see my skin and freckles underneath. Plus, SPF 18! Super!

Sun babies.

I am going to the Virgin Islands in one month. ONE MONTH! I cannot wait. And I have been busy buying all the sunblock in the land because you know, TROPICAL ISLAND!

So far I think this Shiseido face stuff is pretty rad. It is SPF 36 (they also make SPF 55 for $33) and waterproof but doesn't feel all greasy and weird on my face. I think I will be wearing it every day while I sip tropical drinks and stare at the lovely ocean. Maybe I should just buy a million tubes and move there. Wheee!!

Best Lotion

Best lotion

It smells like a grapefruit and some sun, perfectly beachy. Which is just what I need right now.

Get your own.

Ultra face

I like Kiehls lotions and face goo, and their hair stuff is nice too! Yay, Kiehls!

One thing I use regularly is the Ultra Mosturizer, and now they are making Ultra Cleanser and Ultra Toner. ULTRA!! I am buying mine today, so I will let you know when my face becomes ULTRA and starts doing something which will apparently be radical and fantastic. Woo!

Leaving on a jet plane

I am going on a trip this week and I have been trying to figure out what to bring if I want to actually, you know, BRING MY BAGS on the plane with me. God, I don't have a million three ounce containers to smoosh into a plastic bag. LIFE IS HARD.

And then Sephora came to the rescue with this Airplane Approved Beauty Section. I love when things are so well organized! Now I can spend $15 on 1 ounce bottles of things!

Eh. Hooray!?
